Did you know? Nitrate – a chemical fertilzer commonly used in the commercial wine industry to dramatically boost yields – uses far greater amounts of water than that of Organic viticulture and is toxic to the vines. The wines produced from these grapes are of a lesser quality, diluted flavour, diminished vibrancy, and contain less nutrients, thus forcing these wines to “fall apart” within a few years… By naturally enriching the soil in our vineyards, our wines will age with sophistication beyond the 30 years guaranteed by the screwcap closure.
